Push Button Start Cars Security Solution

I purchased a Nissan with push button start and recently saw a report about thieves hijacking the signal of the key fob to easily just get in the car and drive off. My big concern is, since I try park close to a hotel room while traveling, my key fob in the room can be used to steal my ride. So, I have searched the web and found a possible solution at Amazon.com called a Key Fob RF Shield. It is a faraday sleeve that the key fob is put in to block the fobs signal to the car. It has a key ring on the outside for my house keys and fits nicely in my pocket. I've even started to just manually use the lock button on the door when I leave the car. That way there will be no signal sent to these scum sucking thieves.... Sure hope it works, peace of mind especially...
