When I moved into my current home, an over fifties apartment, the man who delivered my new furniture remarked how nice it was, and that he was looking for a place, “Why don’t you apply for one of these” I asked, his face was a picture as he replied “I’m only 36” .......ops1:

Recently my friend asked my opinion of a pricey handbag in a department store, which was hideous. So I said, "it's hideous." She said, "I just bought that bag." Oops. (And it's still hideous. )

When I first opened my shop, the first licensed tattoo shop in the State of Texas, people routinely came in to show me their tattoos, and ask my opinion. In some cases, the tattoos were really terrible, and I'd say the same, and offer to cover them up. After a few stormed out the door, I quickly learned that the majority of folks wanted to hear only rave reviews, and nothing negative. Once the lesson was learned, I would simply ask each person what the tattoo meant to them and when it was done. Then I'd try to sell them on getting another one, this time from me.
