The Quack Watch

I don't pay attention to Quack watch, totally ignore that group.. Since I'm almost 100% alternative and holistic in my healing, Q watch attacks all that work. I believe the MD is paid by pharma anyway. A paid pharma shill and there are plenty for sure.

It's very unfair to spew the Quack word around as so many do this. Those who have gone to higher education in their fields are not quacks. They make mistakes, all doctors do. The surgeon who did my hip replacement really messed me up but he's also done many good replacements. I never called him a quack but he did goof on my body. And I 've thought about why and have my theories. Don't believe he meant to but believe he was in a hurry,,,surgery is not done in a hurry.

Just this ev ning cm across an article in a Virginia paper about steps being taken there to reduce "low value" health care services esp cially unnecessary testing and diagnostics. They cited a reference I'm goingtolook up. In 2012 the Am Board Internal Medicine did an Initiative of Choosing Wisely to eliminate unnecessary testing. I'm going to look it up.

Well in my estimation there is a huge industry of unnecessary tests. And one tests leads to another and then another...and if one didn't have any issues, those MD's will find issues.

I have not had a mammogram in almost 30 yrs and take care of my own breast health and doing fine.

Just wonder what Medicare is charged for this test, which often women are sent back to restest due to calcifications or unable to read the reports.

I hope that it includes pharmacies and if it does, I’ll make sure to mention the inadequacies of Walgreens.
