Question re Portable airconditioners

I just bought one for those days when my ducted evaporative air con doesn't work so good (Humid days) Ok I have installed the ducting in sliding window using supplied kit.My window is higher than the unit so ducting is above the unit

What happens when it rains ?? I am lucky mine is exhausted to under pergola.Just a thought ......................??
