Quick Breads!

This time of year I like to make Pumpkin Bread. I have six loaves in the freezer that I made this past week.

I used to make quite a lot of corn bread, but have gotten away from it lately. I prefer my cornbread "Mexican style" (i.e. not too sweet, more on the savory side). I add some cayenne pepper, cumin and shredded cheese. That may not appeal to most people who are so used to cormbread being more like cake.

Sugar has no place in cornbread. Ask any southerner. Hot peppers, cayenne, cumin, cheese OK :)
