Quitting the Forum for 19 Days

I'll be off the Senior Forum until September 1. (Which was the date that Hitler attacked Poland in 1939, starting WW2.)

I have angered some people because of my post on the Handshake thread, so now I'm going to spend those 19 days deflating my ego.

I may be back on 9-1-17.

Hal answered that thread about how he likes to give handshakes like everyone else, and his reply was not offensive at all. Several people here took the opportunity to attack him personally after that. In response to the rude attacks that followed, Hal deleted his post. I removed all the offending posts, since Hal is not here now as a result of these attacks, this thread is closed.
