Agreed, first time I watched with my wife, her comment was, 'They don't treat you that bad!' I had been in USAF basic & could agree with her if my brother-in-law hadn't been a Marine DI for years. Great Movie, I had to laugh at the dialog until I realized that was the way we talked in the 60's. The writers nailed it perfectly.

In one of my favorite movies'Mississippi Burning' '88 his role was'Mayor Tillman' in the town where the 3 bodies were found.
He also was the voice of the Army leader in all the "Toy Story" movies
