Thanks for posting Falcon, I'll show my husband and sons. They all love old cars. One of my sons collects American cars from the 50s and 60s. He lives in Sweden and they love old American cars over there. I saw Jay Leno today driving a 57 Chevy Belair. It was pretty red and white.

I've liked cars as long as I can remember, so I guess I am a car buff. My favorite is a white 1960 Pontiac Star Chief with the big V8 high compression engine. When you touched the gas pedal, this one would GO! The parking lot where I worked had a few gravel spread around, and it was next to impossible to avoid 'scratching gravel' when I left the lot. Probably too much car for me at the time, but it was unforgettable.

Your friend probably knows about the '59 and '60 Pontiacs. Those were the years when they were hot at the race tracks. Not related to the Daytona 500, but I bought the car from a dealer in Daytona Beach while I was on location. I drove down in a '55 Star Chief which a gas station attendant accidently filled with regular and it messed up the engine.
