I post this as a loving shout out to both of my nieces, Nicole and Julie, who are both Rainbow Babies.

I'm still learning Senior Forum Marie. Haven't put any statuses on my profile yet. My first grandchild was stillborn, full term, looking just like my son. They believe the cord may have gotten wrapped around his little neck during the birth process. That was almost 30 years ago. Rest in Paradise Angel. So now I know my oldest grandson is a Rainbow Baby! Ya learn something new everyday! Question: Does the term refer to all subsequent children or the first birth afterward and your nieces are twins?

Hi OED. Got the msg from FB, so it meant FB status. From my understanding it is the first child born soon after the loss. I have two brothers, One was Nicole's dad and one is Julie's dad. They both lost children before the births of their daughters.
