Well, I'm pleased to report that I went out today, took care of a few errands, no issues/confrontations and no creepy staring strangers. YAY!

However, since posting the thread about the uncomfortable encounter at convenience store, I've seen some disturbing stories on the news.

Locally, two men got into some type argument at Walmart, and the younger guy punched the older man with his fist.

Couple national stories you may have seen on the news:

Shooting rampage at California Trader Joe's

Fight in Florida convenience store parking lot resulted in a man being shot & killed in front of his girlfriend & kids. Apparently shooter hasn't been charged because of the "stand your ground" law.

Yeah, these stories made me think.......................
Wow....guess one can't be too careful. :eek:mg1:

Anyone know if Colorado still has their “make my day” law? That one always troubled me.

Coincidentally, I was watching Charles Bronson in "Death Wish" (1974) the other night.
I heard Bruce Willis stars in a new. updated one.

There was a young woman slashed to death just getting off a BART train in the San Francisco by area. They believe unprovoked and random. They were talking about it on KGO San Francisco news talk. Stating that BART is so bad, people don't want to ride it anymore. I rode it over 25 years ago several times with no problems. I think things have changed.

Don't get into it with anyone. Too many nuts out there.

Gosh Kitties I was out there once myself about 26 years ago and thought the BART was great! Oh, that poor woman.

I most definitely agree with you on that!
