Mama got a craving and went on a search for some fresh spinach after lunch.......she said both Walmart and Crest didn't have any that looked to be worth buying so she went to Sprouts and they had some that tickled her fancy and also while at Sprouts she saw Rainer cherries that I look forward to every year.

Not cheap (they never are) at $6.00 per pound but for some strange reason she feels I'm worth it and she picked up two pounds.......they are absolutely delicious !

I wait all year for these!

You all would LOOOOOVE my daughter`s new home here in Nampa,Idaho. She has a cherry tree so loaded with Ranier cherries that they and the entire neighborhood would have belly aches if they ate them all. Sad thing is,they are trying to get the house ready to move into in two weeks-paint the entire inside, new floors, new appliances and new light fixtures.Oh and all new doors. So the cherries are going to just sit there until the birds get them,I guess. Maybe next year....

When I was little, I swallowed a cherry pit. I didn't tell my mom because I thought she would be angry. Instead, for weeks, I checked to see if a cherry tree was about to grow into (and out of) my mouth. I still like cherries, but I haven't seen the Rainier cherries around here.
