Rare Fruit...I never heard of..

Cherimoya...a sizable, green heart-shaped fruit with a beautifully scaly outer peel.
High in Antioxidants.

The cherimoya Tree requires full sun.

Anyone....know about..had?

Haven't heard of or had tho i spent a few months in S. America, where they originate back in 1970-71.

If you go to Google images they have photos of the the fruit and tree.
Here is a link to an article about it apparently there are a couple of varieties as with apples.
