Rare show of Northern Lights dazzles North America

Anyone see these? Too cloudy here, but they probably would not have been great. I have seen some very nice ones in Fairbanks.

I didn't see them, but I'm not sure they were visible here.

Some people here have gone out of the city to see them. Great photos. There are too many street lights here.

The first time I saw these, I was traveling on my solo trek through Alaska.
For some reason, I stopped on a dirt road in the middle of the night,
got out and looked up.
I GASPED! My knees crumbled!
Chartreuse and violet swirling everywhere!
That was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen!
I stood there in AWE for a very long time, Well, until I heard a
movement in the bushes! (Grizzley country, you know!)
It was MAGICAL!
