Two of the places hubby took me on our first date! Chinatown and Fisherman`s Wharf. November 1965.

Wonderful video
I had a car ride through the city in the late seventies with my Sis and brother in-law. Those hilly streets are somethin' else.
Heart in my mouth many times during the trip.
Also had the historic trolley ride.

it's the same if we look at old footage of the UK.. whether England , Scotland , Wales.. or Ireland... the men almost always worked labouring jobs of some type.. and then would come home and get a meal... a bath and maybe a read of the papers before they went to bed..

I think the huge thing today is Take-away food..Pizza.. et al...
