Received gift cards for gas in the mail

Sent by the home delivered meals program. Unfortunately they must be redeemed at a gas station that's not near to my locale. I wonder why they chose that particular business? Stewarts (a regional convenience store) has a lot more locations - one is about a mile from my house. I wonder if I should mention this to the agency or just keep quiet and make a 20 mile round trip to use it.

Keep them in your car and when you know you’re going to be in that area, let your gas get low so you can use them.

The program may be part of a statewide promotion so they got them for a discount.
