Dollar store socks are just as good as socks that you probably pay a lot more for. I was skeptical about them but decided to try a pair and they are fine, so I have gone back and bought six more pairs. Caveat, though, I have only tried the thermal ones...

Are you a fan of the three pairs for a dollar or the fifty cents a foot variety?

Next step will be disposable socks, 144 single socks for about $20.00!

Disposable clothing such as shirts and underwear have been tried but I have not heard how successfully. BTW, the socks do not dissolve in the wash...

It's so funny you posted this. I just posted in my frugal forum (another site) about my satisfaction with Dollar Tree knee high socks. The material feels good and they washed well. Works for me. :)

Maybe you should have added a little mayo...
