I think I was quite young when the "twist" phenomena happened, about 6 maybe? Anyhow, how many 'twist' songs can you post?

Here's one to start:

I like the oldies....Rock around the Clock....You belong to me, I loved American Bandstand...Some here won't know what that was....haha!!!
I don't know any songs at my age....So I don't even put them on the car radio while we drive....We have my husband's music...Just slip it
in and we sing, if we are traveling.....
By the way, my husband was in a singing group for a couple of years....

Oh! ... the good days were fun! ..This is how as teenagers, we could eat cheeseburgers and milkshakes and have a 24" waist! ..:ROFLMAO:

I don't know about you but even when I was thin I never had a 24 inch waist--just not built that way.

Let's Twist Again Like We Did Last Summer, Twistin' The Night Away, Peppermint Twist, Slow Twistin' With You, Soul Twist, Dear Lady Twist, Twist Twist Senora ....

The dance was popular because even a spaz with two-left feet could do it.

Hank Ballard did the original but Chubby Checker was in Dick Clark's stable and Clark had the almighty power to make or break songs, as well as artists.
