Remember these ice trays ?

What brand do you have? I've tried several of the plastic and silicone ones and no matter how much twisting, can only get about 2 cubes at the most to come out. The other cubes will only come out by running water on them for a long time and then that melts away some of the cubes.
I don't know what brand they are anymore. I got them several years ago and threw out the wrapping they came in.

I remember them but haven't seen one in many moons.

And it's made of all metal, no plastic! :giggle:
I recently tossed a couple of them that I had at least since the 60s and replaced them with large silicone ones. Reason: I kept cutting or bruising my fingers pulling the lever up. Up until that time they were great!
And they were made to last forever!
Those old trays seemed like a hazard in general ..... I didn't like them.
The ice bin in my freezer is so much handier to use.
They seem more conveient than the stupid plastic ones.
I have two in a cabinet somewhere. I never use ice these days.
I never liked ice since childhood. I prefer my drinks closer to room temp. The chill from the refrigerator is enough. :giggle:
