One childrens TV show I remember from the 70's was "Children of the Stones". I used to rush home from school so I could watch it. It was classed as a Childrens Fantasy Drama, and as a child I thought it was great.
From Wikipedia:
"The series follows the adventures of astrophysicist Adam Brake and his teenage son Matthew after they arrive in the small village of Milbury, which is built in the midst of a megalith stone circle."
It was actually fimed in Avebury in England. Part of Avebury village is within the stone circled & 5000 year old earthworks. A place I've been to a couple of times.
