Remote Alaskans evacuated by air from floodt

It's been going on for a week or more. The story I read about was in Shishmaref, AK. But as far as Eskimo villages along the Bering sea, there are lots of them built right on the shore with elevations of two feet above sea level. They had been peacefully lying there since forever, when the big ordeal was extreme cold, rather than today's more violent storms. Many are smaller and not being reported, because they are too hard to get to.

This happened several days back, but it seems nobody’s talking about it and it should at least be acknowledged.

Thanks. I wish they would include a map.
