Silicon Valley has a new pitch to persuade small companies to automate: rent-a-robot. Maha Albadrawi reports.

I wonder if there will next be a robot to sign a pay cheque....oh wait, no need for a pay cheque, people will not be working any more.

This kind of scares me.

To get a human to come to your house, it costs a fortune. Around here, it's $180 just to get a guy to come to your door, Hopefully, Robbie, the Robot is much cheaper. But the thing that sets humans apart from robots is brains. Just think of all the human ingenuity, and intelligence being wasted on tasks a robot can do much better, and much faster.
