Retirement stinks

Whenever I get "Cabin Fever", I get the hell out of the cabin and DO SOMETHING! Even if it's nothing more than joining some friends for
a little libation, conversation and a few laughs. Not a very happy life sitting around feeling sorry for yourself.

I've been retired for many, many years and never regretted it. Sure beats working for a living.

I guess it depends on how big a part work was in your life, if it was your passion and especially if you were self employed, and pretty much worked 7 days a week, it would be more difficult to build a different life in retirement.

I think the majority of us though work for money, to do other things, (with perhaps some enjoyment thrown in) and like myself always had balance with some hobbies and a social life.
When you retire you can then switch to doing more of what you were already enjoying doing, or something new you didn't have time for before.

The answer is as Falcon and others have said if you are bored, just do something!!

'Sure beats working for a living'......NO IT DAMN WELL DOES NOT!!!!
