They become involuntary

First, WELCOME!

What do you mean "escape", when talking about Florida? Does that mean you want to move out of Florida? We have been living in Jacksonville since 2009 and are making serious plans on moving out of Jacksonville and Florida next Spring. Looking at moving wayyyyy up north into northern Colorado or into Wyoming. Florida just doesn't suit us anymore.

Hi,ngtskylvr welcome aboard to this friendly forum congrats on your upcoming 'new life'. I took early retirement 7 yrs ago, don't miss the stress, exhaustion or the job.
I bought a 'retirement clock' 7yrs ago,the 2nd hand shows the days of the week. There have been times when I can't remember what day it is,I just look at the clock.I don't know where the time goes, but staying busy is the key I look forward to your future posts Sue in Buffalo,NY

Been retired since '91. There are boring days from time to time but there were when I was a working stiff as well. All in all, you'll love it is my guess.
