Richard Simmons....gone too

I've read the news in a German newspaper. I didn't know him and at first thought because of his outfits, what a strange guy. But after reading some articles about him, as the one below, I think he must have been a very friendly, kind and empathic guy. There was another article, which I can't find at the moment, but only with positive and loving comments on him.
The secret birth defect that made Richard Simmons a superstar — and a recluse

He was something. From what I read by someone close to him, he was a good soul, a kind man who always wanted to help people. He did not think of himself as a celebrity but did try to answer as much of his fan mail as he could. So sad that he died a day after his birthday which was celebrated. R.I.P. Richard.

RIP Simmons

I hope the zucchini was a joke, I hope he had a real piece of cake for his birthday!

On Friday, Simmons also revealed his fun plans to celebrate his birthday in a very rare interview.
He told People: 'But the candle will probably be on a zucchini. You know, I'm a vegetarian.'

The autopsy concluded that he died from blunt force trauma to the head but foul play is not suspected. It was likely from a fall.
