I used to be a terrible speller, and admit I'm not always brilliant now!
As a 10 year old I wrote a short story as school work called, "Smugglers Bay", 30 pages, complete with illustrations, but how many spelling mistakes were there do you think?
(303 spelling errors, sometimes I'd have two goes, both wrong.

Therefore the answer to the OP could almost have been, "What is always spelt incorrectly, (without a dictionary), every word in Graham's story!"
However, the imagination employed was second to none, if that counts (?). .
