My son in law has been working on this site for months. They have been trying to clear Highway 101 in Northern California so that people don`t have to take a 6 hour detour. The constant rains have not made their job an easy one. They had a goal to get it reopened at 6 o`clock yesterday evening and they made it on the dot! Everyone is fine. This is nothing new for them,they have been working this slide for months. It`s very frustrating though. They hope to have the highway open again by this weekend. My daughter says in the 13 years she has known her husband,she has never heard him sound this tired.
