No it's not either cable or satellite if you have internet. I haven't had cable for close to 2 years. I get way more programming using my Roku to access streaming services, two of which are currently free thanks to Metro PCS (Amazon Prime) and Verizon Fios (Disney Plus) I'm paying $16 for Philo which has all my HGTV favorites live & on demand. I pay $9.59 for Netflix & $12+ for Hulu Plus. So I'm paying $38+ a month for tons of (mostly ad free) programming. A comparable cable package would probably cost $80 or more.Yeah but TV was free back then. Now it's either cable or satellite. Best to subscribe to both, it's worth the money.
