I remember in the early days of space travel from NASA... Every time a ticket went up, our lovely weather got messed up.

Gee thanks! I want summer's warm days at least until mid September with Indian summertime for crying out loud...

The US due for a landing in 2025

I believe the U.S. did this about 50+ years ago when we sent a robotic unmanned craft (Surveyor I) to the moon to collect rocks or whatever it was we were after prior to sending manned crafts to the moon.

Correct first unmanned mission to the moon was in 1966 Surveyor 1. The US lost interest after the last manned mission about 50 years ago(ouch I'm old reminder)
