Salad Dressings?

Yes, I love the flavor of olive oil and use it for dizzying or dipping only unless the cooking temp is really really low. Coconut oil is healthy but if using it for cooking, be sure to use the right type. There's a difference between the refined and the unrefined but I'm a little confused as to which is better…time for google. It has a distinct sweet flavor that I don't like in many recipes although I love it in appropriate recipes.

And yes Debby, you do look healthy and fit! Why those are the healthiest brows and mustache I've ever seen! haha

…you nut, haha. My favorites are:

Vinaigrette - 1 tsp Dijon Mustard, 1 tsp minced Fresh Carlic, 3 Tbsp Champagne Vinegar, 1/2 Cup Olive Oil, salt and pepper

Greek Salad Dressing - 2 Cloves Minced Garlic, 1 tsp Dried Oregano, 1/2 Dijon Mustard, 1/4 Cup Good Red Wine Vinegar, 1/2 tsp Black Pepper, 1/2 Cup Olive oil

That sounds good too Lara. I don't make my own dressings from scratch due to lack of time, but yours would make a nice holiday salad dressing. :love_heart:

For you folks who like to make your own dressings, you could substitute either hemp seed oil or flax seed oil for the olive oil and that way you're getting some omega 3's which are so critical to health in so many ways.

Helpful advice Debby. Thanks for sharing.
