I am retired and living in the Valley of the Sun, Arizona with my two cats, Romeo and Riff. I have returned to my love of writing that I had my whole life but never took seriously and am an article writer making money part time. I also have written some ebooks and sold 5 short stories as a ghost writer. I am 72, so my goals now for the next 20 years (both parents died at age 92) is to either be accepted by a publisher or win a writing contest.

I am going to be in a contest starting Monday April 22 on midlifecollage.com if anyone wants to read it and vote for me....ha ha

Hello, Sally! Will also be visiting the site and checking out the contest. In elementary school, I used to write stories and read then aloud to the class. It was very popular. At a high school reunion, one old friend actually asked if I was still writing! You are an inspiration as I've been thinking about penning a short story or two, lately. Looking forward to your further posts here.
