Save Lots of Money

Yesterday, we got a flyer in the mailbox from our local furniture wearhouse telling us about all the "wonderful" sales they have now. One headline really caught my attention: BUY MORE, SAVE MORE. Well, I started thinking if I would BUY LESS, I might SAVE A LOT MORE. Then, in the end, I figured that for me, the best sign would be: BUY NOTHING, SAVE ALL YOUR MONEY. I wonder why signs like this never appear? I wonder why all the signs are buy, buy, buy? It's nice to be retired for sure because you really don't need it all! LOL

A lot of the grocery stores are doing this, charging a higher price for one and only offering the discount on three of the same item.

Sheesh, even a family of four is not going to use three heads of broccoli before it goes bad, and we have a good waste problem as it is, this is part of the reason why.
