Have you ever written an email..or sent a text to someone other than the intended person... to your horror or embarrassment...or did it turn out funny ?

I sent a text ..and also an email on different occasions accidentally to the wrong people...Yikes...talk about back tracking...

Even saying something can have catastrophic results. I remember years ago I was at a meet and greet event hosted by the corporation that had taken over our company in a forced merger. A very capable young fellow from our company made a few careless comments about the new organization that were overheard by an executive of the organization. A few weeks later when the list of layoffs was published his name was on the list. It could have been a coincidence but my belief is that it was directly related to his remarks at the reception.

Oh yes I believe it probably was Bea...I've witnessed the same thing happen in the corporate world myself...

Guilty on both emails and texts. I have learned my lesson with texts and now delete all texts that I'm currently not active in so I don't press the wrong person when in a hurry.

I've sent a couple of drunken emails long ago . Nothing mean or personal , they just kind of didn't make sense. No more of that !

LOL, Some years ago I heard a comedian say he wanted to invent a breathalyzer attached to a computer which would prevent his drunken emails from being sent.

No, thankfully that never happened to me. Then again, never sent a text in my life and rarely send emails except to family or business reasons.
