Scarey Brit Proposes No Internet Privacy

This guy doesn't know that NSA uses UK as a "listening post" so as not to violate U.S. wire tap laws? If someone wants to use unorthodox encryption, or some type of box codes so no one would read it, they might as well wave a red flag.

People who know this stuff are using digital burst over wide band, off satellites nobody is reading. Navy seals etc. he doesn't think other people know this tech. How is he going to enforce it? Is that all he's got?

I have no objection to (my) government seeing my internet dealings, as long as the same restrictions are in place as there are for telephone calls and surface mail, which have been subject to such surveillance for many, many years.

Such taps have to be authorised by a High Court Judge, and the material cannot be used in court.

You are right to consider Cameron scary. Like your President, he is totally under the control of those around him, who all have their own agendas and most of whom are not elected.
