Sciatica From Pinched Nerve in Car Seat

I recently developed a piercing pain down one of my legs when driving in my car. I was told it's most likely a pinched sciatic nerve. Someone suggested I look into
a seat cushion for my car that will prevent my sciatic nerve from being pinched. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Can you recommend a specific
cushion for the car seat that actually works?

IMO, a sciatic seat cushion won't help til you get that nerve un-pinched. But after that, yes, a good seat cushion will help a lot. When you go online to find one, read the reviews. That's important. Very helpful.

I recommend buying (or making) a slant-board, too. Lie on it face-up and with your head at the low end for at least 10 minutes before and after you drive...maybe just for long drives. The slant should be 45-degrees, minimum.

Or see a chiropractor to align your spine.
