SCIENTIST SAYS CORONAVIRUS VACCINE COULD BE READY BY SEPTEMBER

An Oxford University scientist said Friday that a vaccine for the novel coronavirus could be ready by September.

Sarah Gilbert, a professor of vaccinology at Oxford, has been working on a vaccine with a team of researchers and could possibly develop a vaccine for public use by the fall, the London-based newspaper The Timesreported.

The whole idea is to create enough fear so people will line up in droves.....like they used to for the flu shot.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott says about 30 nursing home residents near Houston who tested positive for the coronavirus are receiving treatment with an anti-malaria drug not yet officially approved for fighting COVID-19. He also said Texas is on a path to be well-stocked with protective equipment, like masks and gloves, for medical workers. Hospitals have said shortages remain.
