Scratches On Dining Table?

Does anyone have some easy home remedy tips? I won't be sanding anything, and no wood wax stick available. Anything else?

split a walnut in half and rub it over the scratches....

I've used this product for many years. No prep, sanding, etc. It hides a multitude of imperfections.

Try it on an unconspicuous spot. I can change the surface to high gloss and will mostly wipe off when cleaning the table.

Talk to the folks at the paint section of a big box store or at a paint store. Most wood stains come in finishing sticks. Work quickly and in small sections.

Go with a light sanding and reapplying several coats of a polyurethane with a good brush.

Old English will definitely improve the look, and if there is only a thin veneer, may be one of few options since sanding might end up going through the veneer.

The very light sanding that does not remove stain might also work.

I've always heard that a paste made of cigarette ashes and mayonnaise works well.
That may be best for single scratches.

For quick and easy scratch touch-up on a wood grain table nothing beats a brown crayon. Wood touch-up sticks are available as well I have used a black sharpie in certain instances...it's all about disguise.

That's right. I have the Minwax stain marker. It's great for touch ups.
I use a sharpie to touch up my bar stool naugahyde. Yup disguise.
