The story is set during the War.

Sargant Jack Baker recruits 12 pastry chefs to go into battle with him. The working title for my movie?

Baker's Dozen

I actually told this funny story on a website many years ago.

This gal poster chimes in and says it should be 13 pastry chefs as a Baker's Dozen is 13. I said, "No. Jack plus the 12 pastry chefs is 13!" Anyhoo, we debated the joke to death and the humour kind of got lost in it all. I still think I'm right, though. lol!

The War doesn't matter. It's all about the punchline.

his squads nicknames: Corp. Pastry, Flowerbox, Egghead, (the twins) Salt and Pepper, (the short one) Shorting, (the guy with the flame thrower) Burner, (the radio-man with the map) Recipe, Chip, (knife guy) Slice and their cook, Cookie..................the real question is are they from Easy(bake) company.
