One of my favorite movies too!
Did you see the fight scene in Lonesome Dove where Gus , (Robert Duvall) bashed the bartender's head in the counter?
There was another good fight scene with Call in the street.
I thought I might have a warped sense of humor, that I like to watch those scenes! Glad I'm not the only one! hahaha!

Loved it! It's one of those "feel good" movies. Could watch it over and over.

Don't mess with the Mob, either. There was a memorable scene in the movie "A Bronx Tale" where a group of tough bikers show disrespect and behave boorishly in a bar owned by the Mob. After warning them, the mob boss locks the door, tells the bikers "now you can't leave," and the mob muscle cleans up the floor with the bikers...

With the assistance of stuntmen, carefully set camera angles, fight choreographers setting out highly orchestrated moves, heavy editing and other tricks of the movie trade, outnumbered underdogs rule the day far more often in films than in real life.

Guess I lived in Hollywood too long, but when I see scenes like these what comes to my mind is, "Yeah, right!"
