Seeds in oatmeal cookies

I would try it. But I am all for making things a bit different. Personally, I would prefer the addition of sunflower seeds. To me, it would make the cookies taste good.

They will be fine as long as they are hulled but if it was me I would feed them to the squirrels on my way out the door to pick up some chocolate, peanut butter or butterscotch baking chips.

Na, there's just some things that need to be as they were meant to be cooked and eaten. ALSO, it's hard today with all the nut allergies floating around.

Do you think that would be an interesting addition to add either sunflower or pumpkin seeds to oatmeal cookies?

I do this any time that I make cookies ! We found that this is a great way to get fiber and enjoy it; so when I make my “fiberlicious” cookies (or muffins), I add about a 1/4 cup (each) of partially ground pumpkin seeds, almonds, and also ground flax seeds, almond meal, coconut flour, and some psyllium husks.
Sometimes, I put an apple or carrot in the blender with the eggs and process that, which also adds more fiber to the mix.
Then I add an extra egg or two, and maybe a scoop of whey protein powder for extra protein, and we end up with something that is a treat, and is also healthy for us.
All of that fiber stuff is replacing junk carbs that we would be getting with just the cookies; so we can eat 1-2 and still be getting less sugar and sweets in our diet.
