Senior Chow?

When I was a young enlisted man in the Air Force, us single guys would joke about wanting to buy & eat 'bachelor chow' (a spoof of dog chow).
No or little prep food that's easy to eat.
Many considered hot dogs and pizza to be the closest to it.
Apparently we weren't the only ones to think of it, as years later the TV animation 'Futurama' had it on the show.

I'm now a single senior.
I'm making granola, and I realized that if I add extra dried fruit and some vanilla protein powder, I'll be close to bachelor / senior chow.

Would you buy senior chow?
What would you want in it?
What flavor(s) would you want?

When I was in college and it was nearing the end of the semester and our funds were running low, my friends and I used to get together and empty our pantries. We called the resulting mixtures gorp. We made red gorp and green gorp, but everyone's favorite seemed to be brown gorp. One component that seemed to find its way into the gorp was canned beans, and the color scheme usually revolved around the kind of beans we used.

The cereal idea reminds me of Helen and Scott Nearing, they used to eat a simple diet and the centerpiece of the diet was called Horse Chow. Horse Chow was basically uncooked rolled oats, raisins, lemon juice and oil.

I would be fine with a basic nutritionally balanced generic meal several times a week.

I would still want to eat the things that I enjoy and cook a few old favorites from time to time.

I would be more inclined to move towards a nutritionally perfect pizza or soup, served hot, but I would try the granola.

For the flavor of granola I would go with coconut, vanilla or maple.

I also like to make granola, and I often eat that with Greek yogurt as a light dinner food. While I really like the concept of Senior Chow, I also like having lots of fresh (preferably raw) foods in my diet; so when I feel like making something, I can, and when I don’t want to go to any effort, there is the granola.
I also make fiber-cake or cookies, which makes it easy to satisfy that desire for something tasty, and still have it be healthy. I add fresh sunflower seeds, flax seeds, and chia to both the cake and the granola, plus I add dried fruits like raisins, coconut, and cranberries to the granola.
I have tried Meuslie , which is kind of a raw oatmeal , but I think that I just like my oats cooked first.

No, I don't see myself buying anything called "senior chow." I like to cook and I like real food.
