Was retired recently at 56 yos (male/single) and thought I go out to meet new friends there ....

1. Is there such a facility/meeting place?
2. How to get invited there?
3. Dress code?

I would look for clubs, meeting places, etc. for people with whom you share an interest, rather than concentrating on their age. You are in the prime of life and might enjoy being friends with people of all ages.

Dress code? In this day and age? Probably in most social clubs, you are required to wear something, but even then I bet there are exceptions!

Yep, come to Florida where there are several nudist resorts........the only thing on the required dress code list is a towel to sit on.....LOL.

There is something on the internet called Meetup. They have all kinds of doings for all kinds of people. I haven't gone to any of them yet but may next year.
