Shall we make more Avocets?

Leighton Moss yesterday.

When I got to the Allen Pools there were three pairs of Avocets on the island in front of the hide. I dunno if it was aftershave or what, but within 20min all three pairs had mated!

This is one of those pairs.

Bird porn. That's a first for me.

But I say, sure! Let them make a bunch of new Avocets whenever the mood strikes.
