Ealing Council in West London, built a housing estate, using
shipping containers, in 2017 and it looks OK, but it has been
in the news lately, for all the wrong reasons.

I thought that it was a good idea, I have always thought that
shipping containers would make an easy to build house, I
witnessed a hotel in the Falkland Islands, built this way.

The estate in Ealing has gone downhill rapidly, I think that the
rents are way too high, £1,560 per month.

Let's take all the very poor, and put them all in one area of cheap, crummy, housing, where the only major employer is the illegal drug trade. What could possibly go wrong?

well Ealing had nothing going for it in the first place.. what's more appalling to me is that they've built these things overlooking people gardens and their houses
