Shots were fired/arrests at Canfield (Mahoning County) Fair

The kids can not even enjoy a day at the fair without having to worry about being shot. Canfield is south of Youngstown near the PA border.

Sadly, it sounds like some of the children were the source of the trouble.

We were fortunate that our New York State Fair ended a two week run yesterday without any life threatening problems.

None of us are safe from random violence, all we can do is be aware of our surroundings and go about our daily lives.

This is exactly why we shouldn't have people running around with firearms on them. Human emotions and guns don't mix well. Just watch almost any 6 o'clock TV news, and the lead story will be someone shot someone.
