Should women be allowed to go topless?

Ah.. we have to leave the boys to their fantasies
that's all they can relate to at their time of life.
I feel certain the wives (if they have one) have put them out to pasture a long time ago

How about Jamie Lee, 41. that did topless photos after a double, to promote flat chested is not only feminine, but beautiful?

She decided against reconstruction surgery, but had she had such, would photos of the reconstructed breast been viewed differently?

Would her photoshoot have been reviewed differently if she had posted a before photo? Would the before have been considered differently than the after?

To bring it closer to home, would this forum allow a female member to post a topless photo after having a double but not a before with breast?

Returning to the OP question, "should women be allowed" I asked who has the authority to tell women what they are going to allow them to do?

I am far from a "women libber," and opposed the women's movement in which many young women degraded all women with their ignorant signs, chants, speeches, costumes, and civil disobedience. They imposed on the rights of others, which is not the way to change anything. That movement undid a lot of what women accomplished during the early movements such as women's suffrage.

Maybe we should asked the question, "Should men be allowed to pee standing up?" While laws would be never passed and couldn't be enforced, we could start societal shaming of those uninhibited men that chose to stand and maybe get public urinals banned. I understand from those that clean those urinals, that such is a filthy biohazard, hahaha!

Did you guys know that men who stand to pee have a 78.43% greater chance of getting prostrate cancer? Hahaha!!!
Do you think sitting in public on seats used by hundreds, is hygienic for your ass. Men should not pee standing up, how much more pathetic in content is this going to get?
We have just been out "top down" for a drive and something to eat. Then I hope to go out and clean the Merc, meaning as I have just taken my duretic I will be peeing in the garden, then it is a farm.
If interested, my wife will not use a public toilet as women are too dirty, and I stand up as it empties my bladder much better.

This young lady went through 2 years of tattooing after her double, so she could go topless.
I am not a big fan of tattoos, but I find this awesome and artistic. It would be hard to tell from
any distance that she isn't wearing a top.

Again, all good points. As I have posted elsewhere, in my view, sexiness is not about a woman's body. It is in her mind, and just comes across in the way she smiles, walks, talks, flirts, and everything else she does.
As for who has the authority, apparently it is the law in that particular state that won't allow it.
As for peeing standing up, I suppose that should be a topic for another thread, but I sit when at home, because I'm aware of the splash zone, and I don't particularly want to clean it up. Sit = problem solved. I doubt that one would ever get a law passed for that, but I would vote for it. If men had to clean up the splash zone, they may vote for it too.

My mention of men peeing while sitting, was in jest and meant to make a point about social restraints that are mostly imposed on women and how that consideration aligned with the topic at hand.

My final point is what the word "allows" infers. Had the thread been titled, "How many of you ladies go topless and in what setting," that is different than should such be "allowed", which infers someone, some group, or some society has the right to decide what a woman can do.

We can all have our opinions and practices, based on religion, culture, and location, but I don't think our opinions and/or lifestyles should be forced on others whether by a law, mandate, or social restraint. Laws, rules, and social restraints, are necessary for a civilized society, but I think they should be fair and not be applied just to women.

No topless women around here, at least that I am aware of, but San Francisco is a different story. From time to time totally nude men have been reported in and around SF’s Castro District, the Gay Capital of the Universe, as a Gay co-worker once described it to me. But nudity, male and female is not limited to the Castro. Straight SF women have infrequently seemed to compete with those men, perhaps as a demonstration of gender equality. Over time nudity, male and female has become semi-legal across the City - particularly in parades and celebrations.

Sorry, but the OP was titled correctly, because the question was never intended to ask: "How many of you ladies go topless, and in what setting". The question is about whether the law is fair, and "allows" is in reference to the law that allows it or disallows it. That is made pretty plain by reading it.

What splash zone, are you heavy into water sports and what in particular do you enjoy about it most? And more amazing, why do you not clean it up?
It seems self-explanatory, but to clarify: When you pee standing up, you get tiny droplets that splatter onto the rim and even sometimes over the rim. Thus the clean up. However, if you sit, you don't have to clean it up. If you like extra cleaning, go for it.

Truthfully, I don't see why they'd want to. I never understood why women feel they have to show off their goodies to any and everyone! But should they be allowed? That depends. Should teachers be allowed to go topless in schools? Should female ministers be allowed to be topless in front of their congregations? Would I want my female (or male for that matter) doctors to treat me while being topless?

I think not ! I remember going into a store years ago for plus sized women. A saleswoman approached me to ask if I needed help. She was a "big girl". She had so much cleavage showing, I felt I had been assaulted. :ROFLMAO:

Lol, yeah those aren't situations where anyone (Man or woman) should go topless, IMO. The question is directed towards situations where topless behavior is often the norm for men (The beach, perhaps hiking, walking, or certain outdoor work). In all my life, I have never seen a man go topless in any of the scenarios you mentioned. So, highly unlikely it would ever come up.

Its ok, I have had this sort of stupidity on forums, normally from the same little group for 20 years. What happened to the guy who once ran the forum and was always worried about his grand children reading it?
Is that a yes since you won't answer? Seriously, just be yourself... people may actually like you for being you. There's no need to instigate and bait people... just be yourself, Sir. 🌻♥️

No Bob, you get pee in the wrong place, not me and should I do so then I would expect to clean it off, not my wife as you suggest. Then the obvious, as we age most men get a larger waist, the reason why older guys start wearing braces as belts stop working as they should. Also, alas as you age more, a person gets heart problems and is given diuretics and hence needs a frequent pee. That would then mean in the winter getting to the toilet very quickly, taking off a jumper, taking down braces and trousers, then taking down underpants, by which time you will have peed yourself.
In the news this week they are talking about installing sanitary bins in the men's toilets for medical needs, something I do not need, but I sure hope they are not filled with the disgusting rubbish women put in their "Bunny Burners" for which they were never intended.
Apparently you read something in your mind that was not in what I said. I did not say, and never would say that I would expect the wife to clean it up. If you did it, you fix it. Also, in the rare situation you described for men, women do it all the time, so cancel the violin player. Besides, I am not saying at all that men shouldn't pee standing up. I'm simply saying that if it creates a bit of splash, just clean it up, or not, I don't care. I just said "I" don't want to clean it up, so I choose otherwise.

I am fussy about who likes me, and not keen on posting about cats, dogs, rabbits ,cross stitch and religion. Plus, as many know, my views on forum posting are simple "Post what you like, how you like, where you like". With my blessings. Can't be fairer than that.

Sorry Bob, I thought you posted "I doubt that one would ever get a law passed for that, but I would vote for it. If men had to clean up the splash zone, they may vote for it too."

Cute kid. So you're Davey... is he going to post a pic of another cute kid? I'm just trying to understand. Is he stalking you? Do you coordinate your appearances here to respond to each other within minutes? These aren't hard questions, so could ya humor me for a sec?

I think you're being baited, @bobcat48 ... spread some troll-be-gone powder around. Actually if you're sick of what this thread has become, I think you can request that it be closed if I'm not mistaken. And good morning to you! 🌞

.... and where exactly in there is the portion that said "I" expect women to clean it up. What I said is that if you make the mess, you clean it up, or not. That's up to you. So what you thought I said, I never said or implied.

Personally I clean up my own mess and I would never ask or expect someone else to do it. BTW my father was a golfer. As he aged the peeing thing became an increasing issue. He got caught peeing in a bush and was kicked off his Club.

I have done that out golfing on rare occasions. When you are a long ways from the clubhouse, and there is no one close by, nature prevails. I've never been caught though.
