To keep it from falling over, consider putting an equal amount of stuff, on the opposite side. I think you can probably find some items, to accomplish that!It's a wonder that mine hasn't fallen over from the weight of the stuff on the door....lol. Mostly it's fine artwork by the Littles but also photos, receipts, notes, magnets.
On the side facing the counter and stove, I have magnet hooks that I keep my cooking utensils (ladle, whisk, pancake turner, hot pads, etc.) hanging on.
