Sick Again

Wouldn't be surprised if I picked up a bug in the eye surgeon's office last week. I had the exact same symptoms back in May - headache, sore throat, sneezing, runny nose, moderate fever, cough. I did test negative for COVID before both eye surgeries. I am sick so seldom, this is really baffling and inconvenient. If they call today for a surgical appointment, they probably wouldn't do me like this.

It's mandatory here, but that doesn't mean some germs can't migrate through a mask's material.

It's true about the germs. I'm wearing an n95 still. When were able to go down to those blue surgical masks for a short time at work, the flu was in the building and I got it. Had I been wearing an n95, I wonder if I would have? The blue mask seemed worthless.

It is here too, at all doctor's offices, hospitals, dentists...

Also if some snotty finger pressed the elevator button, I could get germs from that. If I had to wash my hands every time I touched something outside my residence, I'd have no skin left.

I have a layered cloth mask.

That's what I made and used at the beginning of the pandemic. 3 layers of fabric with a coffee filter in there also. It seemed to work, I didn't get covid.
