Does anyone have any first-hand experiences or otherwise regarding the online site Silvernest, a house-sharing site for 55+, empty nesters or baby boomers?
I read about it a year or so ago.
I believe it started in UK or Europe and is slowly expanding in the USA.
It's more than a spare room or roommate billboard service, they (can) also help with background checks, tenant-renter agreements and collection/payment of funds.
I was looking at it again last night and am thinking that it might be a good way to find a winter/seasonal place at a reasonable rate. I saw a couple of nice looking rooms in Florida retirement communities for around $600.00/month.
