Do you have all those small things to help you maintain yourself and your household?
You know the things like a sewing kit for minor repairs.
A small toolbox for maintenance, screwdriver, spanner, etc. Torch, spare batteries, first aid kit.
Plus some what I consider a necessity, Vacuum Cleaner, Washing Machine.
What would you add to the list?

have you ever been married, Bretrick ?

I have all the things on your list. One thing to add is an air compressor to air up car tires. So glad I got one awhile back so I don't have to make a trip to the gas station for air.

And don't forget the yard tools: Hedge clippers, hoe, rake, shovel.

There’s a big air compressor down in the workshop, but it is a lot of rigamorole to get into the workshop. Turn the darn thing on and hope whatever I have that’s gone flat can get down there before it breaks the bead on the rim.

Bless my brother 1000 times, he just sent me a text on a lithium battery operated air compressor to go buy at Harbor freight. He said he has even aired up the front tires on the 2N Ford tractor with it.

My investment will be about $132 when it’s all said and done because, naturally the battery is a separate purchase.

He said it does come with an accessory to plug it into a cigarette lighter in the car, but it is basically a standalone air compressor. I simply attach it to the valve stem on the tire set, the pressure where I want it to air to, turn it on and let it go. He said it’ll air the tire up to the requested pressure point and then stop. I don’t even have to bend over to do anything more than unhook it from the valve stem.

@Bretrick a portable air compressor might be of interest to you.

I have thought about it.
In all my driving years I have had one flat tyre.
I do have a portable car jump starter.
Similar to this. Bought it at half price, $199.

Used it once successfully on a stranger's vehicle. Took a while to work it out,
but eventually got it.

In addition to all the above, you need ice cream. 🍨 It's good for the soul. 😋

I have thousands of dollars of tools and anything else I would never to keep my life going forward. I also have a air compressor, but haven’t got it installed yet. Maybe I will do that between Christmas and New Years.

When I lived in Virginia, my neighbors would say that if anyone needs something, Tom probably has it.

I had a neighbor here who I swear would check with me first before going to town to buy something they needed.
Another neighbor would borrow then leave tools in their yard rather than return them immediately.
I would have to go over and pick my tools up.
One of the neighbors is now gone and the other no longer gets to borrow any tools.
