Six Days in Hospital

OMG Llynn I can't take my eyes off you for a second can I ? 😟 There was me thinking things are going great for you now, but you were clearly determined anyway to get into hospital by hook or by crook... 😉

So you got the flu which knocked you down or you fell, and when they took you to hospital they dicovered you had flu ?.. which way around was it ? did you fall first or have flu first ?:unsure:

I'm very pleased you're back home,, and recovering where you're most comfortable.. bless you... you will give us all a heart aattack here one day...🤫

I was feeling rough but didn't know it was flu. Was trying to put myself to bed and fell with no hope of getting up. I had my phone so was able to call 911. After a series of tests they decided I had Influenza....they attached another name to it and told me it was a serious form.

all this was happening and none of us knew... how sad that is... I'm very happy you've come through it and are on the mend.. you have to take good care of yourself

Six days in? Yeah, it was serious. There is that K one out there now that is knocking people down. Sounds like you were one of the lucky ones to get it. Lucky in that you got to come home again.

Take a few days to rest and enjoy being back in your space.

It's not easy to get up when falling floor. Glad you didn't break any bone. We, old folks are easily fall the floor, partly 'poor balance' and other facts due to the age.
I fell the floor 4 months ago and fractured the heel of my right foot, two place of the heel.. It was due to 'poor balance' and my carelessness. I need to be careful from now on. One of my adult sons was my caregiver by taking a long leave from his work, but it's tough to both of us.

As for influenza, you need to follow your doctor's instruction. Many years ago, I got 'bad flu,' but at that time I was much younger which speeded up recovery, although I lost 'appetite,' and difficult breathing in my recollection. Since then, I get 'Flu-shot' every year and never got Flu, thankfully. I didn't need to go Hospital, just I took 'Flu' medication which was partly my younger age, about at age 55 - 60. I got recovery within 7 - 10 days staying home and 'Flu' med.

Take care of yourself. Follow your doctor's instruction very carefully!

Oh Amanda...Oooh OUCH ! jeez that must have hurt very badly.. :eek: has it healed yet ?
